Our Story

Where did it start?

Growing up in Southern California was blessed to have some of the best off road spots in the world in your back yard. I learned to ride at spots like Ocotillo Wells, Superstition, Glamis and an occasional quick trip to Palm Ave. I was lucky that I had several families along with mine that would bring me along on their trips and that helped me start a sickness that would leave me being broke the rest of my life.

First trip to Glamis was with my Dad and his friends from work. We spent the first hour looking at paper plates stapled to the board at the Beach store trying to figure out where they were camped. Turned out they were camped just north of the Store and was right next to dirty bobs or clean jeans. At 8 I had my first experience driving the berm tracks in a old VW buggy from that moment on the sickness was born.

A couple years later, after riding the hard pack, my first time riding in Glamis was a borrowed 81 Honda CR80 ripping through the dunes with no paddle. Starting from the bottom to the current day experiencing how to maneuver through the dunes with all kinds of HP learning how to carve the dunes. Through the years I’ve had the pleasure of sleeping in the back of a truck, the cab, a tent, floor of an enclosed trailer, on a couch of a toy hauler, then to my first small trailer, to current set up of 40′ fifth wheel. During that time I have driven/ridden almost all types of vehicles in the dunes. From duning 5hp golf carts from Gecko to Olds, to dirt bikes (2 stroke and 4 stroke), Three wheelers, quads, and SXS.
